Join OM System Ambassador, Lee Hoy, for a Grand India Photography Adventure! This OM System Only workshop is a part of the OM System Mentorship - Part 2: Fieldcraft Series. This workshop will focus on helping you master large mammal and bird photography from a safari vehicle. With a series of pre-workshop videos to help you prepare, a pre-workshop introductory meeting, and a post workshop image critique session, you are guaranteed to learn a lot about large mammal and bird photography. We will spend time in three (3) different tiger preserves (Bandhavgarh, Kanha, & Pench) and then we fly up to Kaziranga for Asian Elephants, Asiatic Water Buffalo, and the Greater One-Horned Rhino! This is going to be an epic photography adventure with an OM System Ambassador!
Lee and Vinod have created a workshop to help you master macro photography!
This workshop will primarily teach you wildlife and bird photography with telephoto and super telephoto lenses in natural light.
Lee has served as an OM System Ambassador since April 2019! Vinod is an amazing local guide who takes care of all the day to day arraignments freeing us up to focus on photography!
The challenges of photographing from a safari vehicle are very different from those on foot. You will learn fieldcraft related to shooting lanes, composing images from different elevations, watching for AF obstacles, and settings to ensure your images are tack sharp!
This workshop includes a group pre-workshop zoom meeting to help you prepare for the trip by discussing clothing, camera gear, accessories, travel suggestions, and more. It also includes a post workshop group zoom meeting for an image critique discussion for those who opt to share images for critique. Both sessions will be recorded and provided for repeated viewing.
This workshop gives you a chance to see the Greater One-Horned Rhino, Indian Elephant, Bengal Tiger, and Asiatic Wild Buffalo. This itinerary maximizes our chances to photograph all of these, plus leopard!
